The Drive is a reenactment of a police pullover from the perspective of a black student, his mother, and the officer.

This is a story we've already heard too often in the news, but we receive the story second hand from a variety of different political stances. Constructed by research of civilians of color who've had encounters with officers as well as interviewing officers in Urbana and the UIUC police, we've produced an example of a pullover in order to immerse users in a first-hand experience and lead the discussion of police-minority relations to a stage of empathy that can lead to constructive solutions.
